I love it that the sun has been shining for the past few days, but it is still very cold, to cold to go outside without a scarf and gloves.
I want summer now :(

Where I live, it is tradition that the kids that bring the newspapers around, come to your door, give you a card with holiday and new year greetings, you give them some money as a "thank you for delivering the newspaper the whole year" and they go away buying candy or whatever.
So today, the bell rang, I opened the door, and there were these two boys. They handed me their cards, said their greeting thingie " the westlanders paper wishes you very happy new year blahblah". And I gave the kids some money.
Then my brother came home from work, the bell rang again (this was about 20 minutes after the two kids left) My brother opened, and from the living room, I heard kids saying the new year greeting thing. So when my brother came inside to look for some money, I asked him which paper it was, he said he didn't know.
I took over here, and brought the kids the money, and took their greeting card. It was the same newspaper, only different kids.
I looked out the up-stair window, and saw a bunch of kids going around the block, ringing the doorbells and collecting money.
This really pissed me off.
Later that night, the bell rang again, and yet again someone from that same newspaper, my mother opened this time, saying she was not going to give anymore money to them.
The sad thing is, the last one turned out to be the real deliverer of the newspaper. When my mother told him she already gave money, he even knew what she was talking about, from all the around the neighborhood he had heard the same thing. "Sorry boy, I'm not giving anymore money"
When the newspaper arrives, there is nobody home, so we didn't know who was the real deliverer.
So because of those stupid little brats, the boy that really worked for it, didn't get his new years tip money.
I just can't stand that kind of crap, if those kids really want to earn some money, they should start delivering newspapers themselves.

Today when I went home from my internship job That is all the way in Amsterdam (takes two hours to get there and twio hours to get back)
Well on the way back, a lot of people around just had to shout.
It started on Amsterdam Central station where I was waiting for my train to Den haag. A boy suddenly shouted in LOLITA in my ear, I was glad I was wearing my headphones because he would have give me some ear damage for sure.
It was realy pointless and rude thing of him to do. He could have just stepped in front of me (instead of shouting from my side) and made a comment about my clothes. But NOO he had to shout it in my ear, and walk away, I stared after him confused, he turned around looked at me and kinda smiled and nodded, so I just forced myself to smile back and ignore him further.
Then in the train, I got my book and prepared for 45 minutes of reading in some peace and quiet. But it didn't happen.
Because a litle after I got on the train, a group of English soccer supporters came in to the compartement I was in. They sat in different seats all over the compartement, and started talking to eachother.
Now that wouldn't be a problem at all, if they would talk at a normal conversation tone. But these men were already so drunk that they couldn't talk normally anymore. THey shouted to eachother so very hard, I had to turn my music on to maximum, and I could still hear every word they were shouting. And they were singing horrible soccer songs.
The loudest of them all was sitting right oppisite of me T__T. It was anoying, but still bearable at that point.
Untill two muslim girls with headcloths (are that what they are called in English) walked through the compartement. The man started to yell and shout all kinds of horrible things at those girls. And the girls were looking scared and hurried to next compartement. How friggin retarded can you get. They should have just left the girls alone.
Then they started to shout about how Paki's (thats the word they used, and I think they mean the terrorists that did the attack on London) Blow everything up, they blew up London, they blow up them, they blow up everything. So I thought to myself, "I wish they blew you up".
The one sitting oppisite of me started screaming how where he came from, there were only white people, and it was such a good place because of all the white people. Common if that place is so much better, then please to be staying in your damned friggin place kthnxbye.
So if they had just kept it to talking loud and singing annoying songs, then fine, I can live with that, but when they start being racists, then I get mad. It was stupid that they accused all muslim people of blowing up London. I know it was a horrible thing when the terrorists atacked In London subways, but its not the fault of every Muslim person on the world. Alot of muslims are very nice people.
Now you might think "you are ranting but why didn't you just say something about it" Well that is because they were scary ugly big muscled bald men, and I'm just a skinny lil girl, But more then that, I just didn't think they were worth wasting my breath on.
Fortunatly they got off at Schiphol airport.
And then in the bus back home from den haag, A girl behind me starting to talk very loud into her phone, gaaaah to much shouting, I don't need to know about all your stupid problems and how you can't do anything yourself without calling your friend first, Just lower your voice when you are making a call on a bus thnx.
/end Rant
And what do we learn from this?
1: Don't shout into peoples ears when they are standing right next to you
2: Don't be a frigging annoying asswipe, and don't shout to your friends in a train when they are only a few seats away from you and could perfectly hear and understand you when you speak on a normal tone.
3: Don't shout in your phone when you are on a bus, the person on the site can hear you when you speak on a lower tone, if not, the other person should turn their volume up.

I finished the first two items of my school assignment.
I study fashion, and every year we have to make an outfit to show on the catwalk. these years assignment was: Make a completely black outfit inspired on a style period (example Rococo, victorian, old greek whatever) but it has to be wearable in this time (anno 2007) And it has to be some kind of formal (party) wear.
So I choose the victorian second tournure time (not sure if that is the correct english term for this time period, but it is directly translated from the Dutch term) second tournure is a skirt with a tournure underneath it, but only on the back, to give a fat ass look which was really elegant around that time.
The skirt I made is made from a very nice bit shiny kind of fabric, it feels great. There are four layers of fabric, the first is made from the shiny great fabric, then there are two layers of tulle with ruffles of the other fabric at the hem. and the fourth fabric is voor lining of the skirt. underneath the skirt is a short underskirt. the overskirt is draped to the back like a curtain (I have to add some black bows to the part where the fabric is tied together on the front)
The top is a very tight corset. I embroidered the fabric by hand (took me two weeks XD) on the front on both sides, the corset is open and hold together with lace up ^^, the back is laced up as well. It has 22 bones (baleinen)
Now I have to make the last piece, that will be a black jacket made of black denim fabric.

I had a jaw surgery on monday, It doesn't hurt even though I got this heavy painkillers that I have to swallow for 10 days, but I only took one on monday, and that's it, because it doesn't hurt. MY cheeck is friggin'swollen though. Its realy twice as big as my other cheek and very blue-isch, It does hurt when I poke my cheek, or when I have to laugh realy hard. Ow well I just look like Hamtaro right now. Also the doctor made a hole to my uhmm (in dutch it is neus bijholte but I don't know the english word) Because of that I keep smelling and swalowing blood, its disgusting. It was worser yesterday. And I can't blow my nose or sneeze with a closed mouth for two weeks. Its difficult to keep you mouth open when you have to sneeze, and because of my freak allergies I have to sneeze alot * boohoo*
But It all doesn't matter, I will go and pick up my shoes tomorow aniway ^^
